FOOTNOTES: F274: Son of Man   A name Jesus used for himself. In Dan. 7:13-14, this is the name for the Messiah, the one God chose to save his people. F275: accept … must have   Literally, "drink the cup that I must drink." Jesus used the idea of drinking from a cup to mean accepting the terrible things that would happen to him.
