Praise the name of the LORD; Praise {Him,} O servants R4211 of the LORD, 2 You who stand in the house of the LORD, In the courts R4212 of the house of our God! 3 Praise F1427 the F1428 LORD, for the R4213 LORD is good; Sing R4214 praises to His name, for R4215 it is lovely. 4 For the F1429 LORD has chosen R4216 Jacob for Himself, Israel for His own F1430 R4217 possession. 5 For I know that the R4218 LORD is great And that our Lord is above R4219 all gods. 6 Whatever R4220 the LORD pleases, He does, In heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps. 7 He F1431 causes R4221 the vapors F1432 to ascend from the ends of the earth; Who makes R4222 lightnings for the rain, Who brings R4223 forth the wind from His treasuries. 8 He F1433 smote R4224 the firstborn of Egypt, Both F1434 of man and beast. 9 He F1435 sent signs R4225 and wonders into your midst, O Egypt, Upon Pharaoh R4226 and all his servants. 10 He F1436 R4227 smote R4228 many nations And slew mighty kings, 11 Sihon, R4229 king of the Amorites, And Og, R4230 king of Bashan, And all R4231 the kingdoms of Canaan; 12 And He gave R4232 their land as a heritage, A heritage to Israel His people. 13 Your name, R4233 O LORD, is everlasting, Your remembrance, F1437 O LORD, throughout F1438 all generations. 14 For the LORD will judge R4234 His people And will R4235 have compassion on His servants. 15 The idols R4236 of the nations are {but} silver and gold, The work of man's hands. 16 They have mouths, but they do not speak; They have eyes, but they do not see; 17 They have ears, but they do not hear, Nor is there any breath at all in their mouths. 18 Those who make them will be like them, {Yes,} everyone who trusts in them. 19 O house of Israel, R4237 bless the LORD; O house of Aaron, bless the LORD; 20 O house of Levi, bless the LORD; You who R4238 revere F1439 the LORD, bless the LORD. 21 Blessed be the LORD from R4239 Zion, Who dwells R4240 in Jerusalem.
