Book of Psalms Chapter 30 - Read Chapter 30:1 - [In Context ]Lord, you lifted me up out of my troubles. You did not let my enemies {defeat me and} laugh at me. So I will show honor to you.
30:2 - [In Context ]Lord my God, I prayed to you. And you healed me.
30:3 - [In Context ]You lifted me out of the grave. You let me live. I did not have to stay with the dead people lying in the pit. F125
30:4 - [In Context ]God's followers, sing praises to the Lord! Praise his holy name! F126
30:5 - [In Context ]God was angry, so the decision was "death." But he showed his love, and gave me "life." At night, I lay crying. The next morning, I was happy and singing!
